About

New members are always most welcome at North Kirra, so if you have ever considered contributing to your local community, what better place to do that than on our fantastic beach with like-minded, friendly people! Plus North Kirra was awarded the Patrol Club of the Year and Club of the Year 2022 by SLSQ Point Danger Branch, so we must be doing something right!

For our returning members, all of our Skills Maintenance/Proficiency sessions for Season 2023/2024 have now been completed.

Please ensure that you complete the online theory component beforehand. This will be done through the Members Portal and can be locacted in the Training Libary of the elearning platform. There are 4 parts to it – 1 part is a video to watch (approx 6 minutes), there are 2 online scenarios for rescue and first aid, and the other part is the theory questions (6 of them). SRC holders have only 2 components to complete, so please choose the relevant proficiency for the award you hold. Once completed, ensure you print your certificate or take a screen shot to bring with you to your proficiency or email to the club. You cannot complete the practical component until the theory is completed.
